Broken bench covered with caution tape on Spadina Rd.
Less than 6 months after our brand new benches, chairs and planters were finally installed throughout the village, several pieces of street furniture were damaged beyond repair by a careless sidewalk snowplow operator.
A claims process has begun to receive compensation to cover the damage - two benches will need to be replaced and one planter repaired by replacing one half section (near Green P lot). Unfortunately, these things take much longer than we'd like.

Please do not sit on the two damaged benches - SW corner Spadina/Lonsdale, and W side Spadina just S of Lonsdale.
